Spring FA2D Lecture Series: Nadia Ayari
Ayari’s work focuses on political landscapes. Her frescoes add a sculptural dimension to her paintings’ richly dense surfaces.
She has had solo projects at Luce, Turin, Monya Rowe, New York and The Third Line, Dubai, and has participated in the 12th Cairo Biennale and the 3rd Thessaloniki Biennale.
Her work has been exhibited in group shows internationally at venues including the Saatchi Gallery, London, and Monica DeCardenas, Zuoz and Gallery Diet, Miami. In March 2016, her solo show ‘Bricks,’ opens at Taymour Grahne Gallery, New York.
She is a founding member of S2A, a project space and collective based in New York, where she currently lives and works.
