Bryan Graf at Lesley University

  • Lesley University 1801 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02140 United States (map)

Graf explores the materiality of light, utilizing traditional photographic materials in untraditional ways that show the visceral, optical and conceptual relationships with each other. Utilizing the photographic medium, Bryan interweaves the history of photography with it’s sisters of design, painting, sculpture and collage.

Grafʼs work has recently been featured in Second Nature: Abstract Photography Then and Now at the Decordova Sculpture Park and Museum, and The Polaroid Years: Instant Photography and Experimentation at the Loeb Art Center at Vassar College.
