A.K. Burns at Lesley University

AK Burns is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice includes video, installation, sculpture, collage, poetry, and collaborative projects. Her works address trans-feminist issues. Burns' work is in the permanent collection of MoMA, LACMA, and the International Center of Photography. A full time faculty at Hunter College, Burns is currently a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. Her solo exhibition, "Shabby But Thriving" was on view at the New Museum from January to April of 2017.
