Art & Environmentalism in a Contemporary Context

Date: Thursday, February 15th, 6pm - 8:30pm
Performance: 6pm (live performance by Faith Johnson)
Artist Talks: 6:30pm - 7:45pm
Panel/Q&A: 7:45pm - 8:30pm

This panel, organized in conjunction with Quickening the Dust - Inaugural AiR Exhibition by DAP AiR Allison Maria Rodriguez, will include a series of presentations by artists from the greater Boston area focusing on environmental issues in their work. They will discuss their personal motivations, the alternative approaches they utilize in their practice, and the challenges they face politically, aesthetically and conceptually. The evening will open with a live performance. Light refreshments will be provided.
